I got this in the mail and there was one of the packs of cards open on the side with a slit. Looks like a knife just went right down the side. I'm sure we got screwed out of some cards on here. Only 5 holos out of 36 packs! Couldnt return them because they were opened... NEVER WILL I BUY FROM THIS PERSON AGAIN!

The box arrived a day earlier than the shipping date and was in great condition. Cards were in mint condition and were not damaged. I got great cards in the box. I got Mewtwo EX, Regigigas Ex, Mewtwo EX Full-Art, and a secret rare Chandelure (101/99)!

I have always wanted this item and i could never get it so i bought some packs and searched online for some ultra rares. I got my favorite one!!!! I got Victini full art!!!!! I also have Reshiram from black and white and i have thundrus from the Emerging Powers set. I would rekomend getting a booster box rather than getting 36 single booster packs.

I got three legend cards, completed Deoxys and Raquaza Legend, the holofoils I wanted, and four Pokemon prime cards. I always think the booster box is always the way to go when making a new deck. 36 packs and 10 cards per pack. 360 cards! I would have payed much more than 96$, if I bought the cards as singles.NOTE: For those who think it's an actual box for storage, it's not.

It has been many years since I have done Pokemon TCG, not since the old Johto sets going back Neo Genesis and all those thru Neo Destiny in 2002, yes I was around when these first came out in 1999 and I am still a Poke-geek to this day.WARNING: For those who have waited years to get back in like me, this game has changed a lot from the days when I did it. I never had Poke-bodys or x2 weaknesses, it was always +20. The art work on the cards has always been good but these are so good. I was going to buy these on Pokeorder.com but with the Amazon Prime Free shipping, since the store I used was a full-filled order by Amazon, it was cheaper by a good margin. Johto Pokemon have always been my favorite out of all the generations so I am glad I re-started with the HGSS sets. These are great. I hope to make some good decks out of these cards. I have check these cards out before and they look like real keepers. Pokemon TCG is great strategy so I consider them very educational, they make you think, and a good up on social and conversational skills if you are in tournaments, you have to talk in order to due battle. These are cards so they are not the most durable things but as long as you take care of them, are careful and gentle with them they will last a long time, hopefully longer than me. This will be my first booster box ever, even though it's not really at box but 36 individual paper booster packs, so I know it will be very exciting for me. Now to try and find a league that gives out…

Not the 1st Edition

I decided to buy this product because of the nostalgia attached with it. I was an avid Pokémon card collector in my younger days. I bought the Base 1 Booster Box in order to revisit my past and get that sought-after card, the rare and ever-popular Charizard. I was glad to see that the package I received was everything I had hoped for. It was exactly as the product description stated. Now, for all of you wondering what kind of pulls I got from the box, I got a pretty nice selection of holos. Mind you, not all boxes have the same amounts of Trainers, non-holos, holos, etc, obviously. But The holos I received were: Mewtwo (1), Hitmonchan (1), Chansey (1), Ninetales (1), Magneton (2), Gyarados (1), Poliwrath (1), Clefairy (1), Blastoise (1), and what do you know.....a Charizard! So great holos, I'd say. But if you were (or are) and avid Pokémon card collector and you want the original series, this is the buy for you. I had a great time opening up the packs and I know you will to.
